5-Day Sumba Island Tour 5D4N itinerary, Tambolaka to Waingapu

From USD 490 to USD 850 per person in 2026, depending on how many travel together: USD 850 each for 2 persons, USD 490 each for a group of 8. Groups of 6–10 travel in 2 cars.

Lapopu Waterfall on day 2, Purukambera Savanna and a Tanggedu Waterfall trek on day 4, and a third night in East Sumba. Day 3 goes to Waimarang Waterfall, so you see both Waimarang and Tanggedu.

It starts at 12:00 WITA with pickup at Tambolaka Airport (TMC) or a hotel near it, and ends at 11:00 WITA on day 5 at Waingapu Airport (WGP). Arrive the day before or on a flight landing before noon, and fly home the day after if you can: the itinerary cannot be adjusted to flight times.

Night 1: Sinar Tambolaka or equivalent, in Southwest Sumba. Nights 2 to 4: Padadita Hotel or equivalent, in East Sumba. Rooms are twin share, and upgrades are available per night, per room.

Entrance and donation fees, drone and mirrorless documentation, mineral water, the meals listed in the itinerary, a tour leader, a 3-star hotel on twin share, pickup at the meeting point on day 1 and drop-off at Waingapu Airport. Flight tickets and personal belongings are not included.

The trip involves a lot of physical activity, including waterfall treks. If you have a history of asthma, hypertension, heart disease or a similar condition, consult a doctor before the trip and bring your personal medicines.

Choose a date while accommodation is available, then pay a deposit of at least 50%. The balance is due 14 days before departure; bookings made within 14 days are paid in full. Confirm on WhatsApp with the transfer receipt and participant details.

The deposit is non-refundable and cannot be moved to another date, but you can pass your place to someone else. Changes caused by bad weather or other force majeure are not refunded.
