How the open trip works.

The 2026 open trip terms, in six points. Everything else runs like the private 4D3N.

One price, twin share

USD 459 per person, sharing a room with a participant of the same gender. A private or couple room costs USD 99 extra per room, subject to availability.

Goes from 4 participants

Each departure is confirmed once the minimum quota of 4 participants is reached.

Ages 10 to 50

The route includes trekking on slippery, steep paths to the waterfalls. Outside this age range, a private trip can be arranged instead.

Innova, two to a room

Participants travel by Innova. Rooms are arranged by the number of men and women registered, so everyone has a place.

Pickup 11:00–12:00 WITA

On day 1 at Tambolaka Airport (TMC) or a Southwest Sumba hotel; the trip starts at 12:00. Arrive the day before, or on a flight landing before noon.

Ends 11:00 WITA, Waingapu

Drop-off at Umbu Mehang Kunda Airport, Waingapu. Fly home the day after if you can: the itinerary cannot move around your flight.

Deposit at least 50% to book; the balance is due 14 days before departure. Booking within 14 days of departure: pay in full.
