Weather on the day
Safety comes before the plan.
Trips run all year. When the weather suddenly turns unfavourable, the tour leader changes part of the itinerary for the safety of participants, and the itinerary can also change with conditions at the destination.
Sumba is hot in every season, so a hat, sunglasses and sunblock belong in every bag.

- A power bank for the sunrise and sunset stops
- Drone and mirrorless documentation is included
- Files are copied on day 3: bring a hard disk, usually over 32 GB
Open trip 2026
Open trip dates, Thursday to Sunday.
Every open trip is 4D3N at USD 459 per person. Tap a date to ask for a seat on WhatsApp; a departure is confirmed once 4 participants have joined.
Deposit at least 50% to book; the balance is due 14 days before departure. Booking within 14 days of departure: pay in full.
